Not working at Opera 8.50...JS enabled, fast replies enabled in profile, and so on...i tried restarting my computer too  ;-)

Here's what i found in Opera's Java Script console.
About version 1.6... - Unclassified NewsBoard
http://newsboard.unclassified.de/forum/thread/536,7;nocount
Javascript URL thread: "javascript:replyTo(8)"
Unhandled exception: [Object DOMException]

After some fighting with Opera 8.01/Win32 I also got this error in the JS console but it must be an Opera bug. This is specified in a JavaScript/DOM reference and I want to append an HTMLDivElement to an HTMLDivElement. This is legal and it works in Firefox. I cannot fix this for Opera now.

Aah, you didn't know it only shows up when you click on "Reply"... ok. Yes, click on "Reply" inside the post block, then it'll appear.

I love the new javascripty interface.  One complaint about fast reply though.  I went to reply to another thread and expected to see the fast reply box open at the bottom.  I had to check my profile to make sure it was still set correctly.  It was, then I went back and clicked the reply button and then the thing showed up.  This was confusing to me.  I think that if I have fast reply enabled, the box should default to open.

The first time you tried, nothing happened or it opened a new post editor page? Right now, fast reply is constantly enabled. I'll update the board later which will fix this so that you can actually disable fast reply at all. Also will it change the link caption to "Reply" resp. "Fast reply". Opening the fast reply box automatically scrolls your window so that you should be able to see everything as well as possible.

The latest development version should address almost any of the issues that have been reported during the last two days since the release of 1.6 RC 1. You'll find the downloads page? ;)

Another note about the new 1.6 design: If you shouldn't have done that already, I'd recommend you to disable the option "Login at the top of the page" so that the login box will be moved to the bottom of the page. There's not enough space for these things in the navigation line in the default configuration. If you have enabled the provided user CSS example to set the content width to the full browser width, things may be different though.

Yep, you're right, my users pressing me to enable this option, by my answer sounds "NO". There is no much place, as you said... :) In second case is a possibility that navi-panel mayu be presented in TWO LINES (terrible!).

Yes, that would be a way. You could move that line from the footer to the head template, should work. But how often do you need that? Is it that often that you want to see it on every page? (Tell that your users... ;)) Anyway, I could add a hotkey for the login field, maybe Alt+L or something. That's only an accesskey="l" attribute for the login name input field.

I don't want to see it to often and for this reason login should be presented in footer on my page only!
