as you can see here http://bezoard.com/forums/forum.php?req=main&id=4, the forum structure seems to be desorganized .. i mean that nothing is aligned ..

and finally (sorry)

my hoster allows the "mod_rewrite"
but when i enable the function on UNB

The requested URL /home/bezoard/www/forums/forum.php was not found on this server.

Yes, i have finally succeeded in installing UNB
But some bugs always exist .. and i don't know why ..

First : i need to write the complete adress to go to the board , i mean www .... com/unb/forum.php
if i just write xxxx.com/unb i can see the directory content
This happens on Safari (mac) and IE
Under Firefox i got this error :

"Erreur de parsing XML : pas bien formé Emplacement : http://www. xxxxxxxx .com/forums/forum.php Numéro de ligne 5, Colonne 88 :"

it is french :-p .. parsing error in fact .. why ? i ve touched nothing ... then the font size seems to be bigger than the one on this forum ... weird again ..

i hope you could help me
and even if i m in trouble  "good job yves " ..

in fact because it is not working i have tried to install 1.5.3 and then to upgrade .
1.5.3 is well installed and everything is working perfectly
but i can't upgrade

you say in the documentation : Upgrading from version 1.5 to 1.6 is a little more complex though
what do we have to do excepted to change :

lib_path = unb_lib/
lib_url = unb_lib/
log_path = unb_lib/logs/

in the 1.5.3 workiing configuration file ?

and in fact, i can't find this sentence "lib_url = unb_lib/" with the search function of Dreamweaver ... weird ...

as many people, the bug "UNB : cannot connect to the database" occurs, i solved it with your solution
the second problem concerning "activkey " occurs also but the fact is and that is my problem :

if a change validakey to activakey
the import script disappears from the list when i want to import my database ..

whereas originally, the scritp appears so i can't succeed the import ?

any solutions ?

thanks
