Nee, Uploads über mein Mini-Upload-Skript funktionieren ja. Und phpinfo() gibt auch aus: file_uploads = On

Bleibt mir wohl nix übrig als jeden Schritt irgendwie zu debuggen, mal sehen wie ich das anstelle. :-)

PS: In den Logs erscheint übrigens dabei immer folgender Eintrag: edit_profile 2item 6 error

Ok, wenn ich $filename innerhalb der Funktion is_valid_avatar_name() ausgeben lasse ist diese Variable leer. Nix. Null. Nada. Kein Wunder das er da keinen Punkt drin findet. :-p

Ne Idee woran das liegen könnte, das in $filename nix drin steht?

Naja, ein punkt samt Endung is schon dabei, nur nicht noch mehr Punkte. Das schon klar. ;-)

Jo, gute Idee, werd dann mal anzeigen lassen welcher Name der Funktion missfällt und mich dann wieder melden.

Subject: Avatar und Benutzerbild Upload funktioniert nicht
Hallo,

kaum den eigens verursachten Fehler mit den Smilies behoben, schon das nächste Problem. :-D

Und zwar erhalten User immer folgende Fehlermeldung wenn versucht wird ein Avatar oder Benutzerbilder hochzuladen:

Ungültige Avatar/Foto-Datei (Kein "." im Dateinamen)
Eine der Angaben konnte nicht gespeichert werden.

Der Funktion is_valid_avatar_name() entnehme ich das er den Punkt im Dateinamen und somit die Dateiendung nicht findet.

Woran kann das liegen? Ein kleines Mini-Script zum Dateien hochladen funktioniert auf dem Server ohne Probleme. Der Dateiname beeinhaltet auch keine weiteren Punkte neben dem vor der Dateiendung.

Irgend jemand ne Idee?

So... nun endlich weiß ich woran es lag - natürlich wie in 99% der Fälle am User! :-D

Codeschnipsel meiner board.conf.php:
design_list = fatalis
design_textonly = 0
design = 0
smileset = unb

Wie man sehen kann wollte ich lediglich den einen Style zur Auswahl stellen. Zur Lösung des Problems habe ich nun also design_list um textonly erweitert und design_textonly auf 1 gesetzt. Und nun zeigt er auch in den Beiträgen Smilies an!

Wie müsste ich es denn korrekt anstellen, das nur ein Style zur Verfügung steht? Oder *muss* es textonly für den RSS Feed geben?

Ok, ich habe gerade nochmal die anderen Standard-Designs hochgeladen bzw wieder in die board.conf.php eingetragen und bei denen erscheinen die Smilies. Muss ich wohl in der cfg.php oder der css.php Mist gebaut haben? Ich werd's nochmal durchgehen, danke soweit schon mal für deine Hilfe!

Ich ändere gleich noch temporär die Rechte so dass du als Gast auch posten kannst. In der Vorschau sieht man ja schon das es nicht funktioniert, ansonsten poste einfach irgendwas im Offtopic Forum.

...das ich diesen alten Post ausgrabe, aber genau das hier beschriebene Problem habe ich auch - Smilies in Beiträgen werden als Zeichenfolge angezeigt, in Ankündigungen als Grafik.

Woran könnte das wohl liegen?

That should be easy to fix.

If you look at the code below the ADSPACE comment, all HTML tags are put within echo. This is necessary so the HTML tags don't get parsed and get put out directly to the browser as they are.

Anyway, the proper code should be like this:

         // ADSPACE
             echo '<a href="ad.html"><img src="ad.gif" border="0"></a>';
