Hi,

at first thank you for the improvements in this plugin.
The plain text looks now fine.

Sorry but I found two additional things.
In the subject it doesn't like the special letter.
And the subject (optional) in a reply looks very strange.

Hi,

first of all thanks for prviding this plug-in. It's a great help.

Using it, I came accross the following two problems:

- Selecting "Arial" as a font produces pdf-files which cannot be opened with Acrobat. When selecting another font this problem does not accur. Could this be because there is no Arial in the font-directory?

- Unfortunately the link to the pdf file (next to the Thread-topic) does not work. It only produces a nearly empty pdf-file. As far as I can see, this is because the link is missing the thread-id (forum.php?req=pdf&id=). At least the pdf output works fine, when I enter the URL manually and add the thread id.

Both are only minor problems in my eyes. But maybe you can never the less find the time to fix them.

Version 1.2 is out

I found a found a bit time and fixed some Problems with the PlugIn.

See the first page of this thread for the new improvements.

The optional Subject is now displayed right and special letters are shown right.

I couldn't effort the Arial problem. If I use Arial as fonttype everything in the pdf works fine. Arial is also the default font and therefor don't need any inclusion file like courier or helvetica.

Maybe you could test the new version if it works better.

Hi,
first of all a big thanks from me, too.
Unfortunately the problem I had with Arial as font type is not fixed by the update. Even worse: now I have the problem with all the fonts. Instead of opening the pdf, Adobe Reader (version 7) tells me, that the pdf file is irrevocably damaged and cannot be opened.
As I said, with the old version I had this problem, too but only when using Arial as font type. Did you change anything in the code that could effect the generated pdf-files?
Can you help me with this problem? It seems as though the plugin works fine on your site.

I moved the whole board to another server and now the pdf-download works fine.

when will there be a new version for the latest devel or stable?
It is working but has an error processing quotes

how can i fix this?

pdf can be created but it doesn't work with my local language.
i see only question sign ?? ??? in pdf.

DB's utf8_general_ci
encoding's utf-8

any idea?

die Version 1.6.4 mag das plugin nicht mehr :-(
Weiß wer was man ändern muß, damit er dies wieder mag?

Falls sich am API nichts geändert hat, kann man im Plugin einfach die Versionsbeschränkung anpassen. Das geht in den ersten paar Codezeilen der PHP-Datei. Mehr Informationen zur Verwendung der Funktionen liefert die Code-Referenz im Entwickler-Bereich der Webseite.

If nothing has changed in the API, you can simply adjust the version restriction in the plugin. This can be done in the first couple of code lines in the PHP file. More information about the usage of the functions is available in the code reference in the developers section of the website.

(Is that too many "the" in my posting? Just wondering...)
