It isn't down. Did you enter a valid e-mail address? Or was the mail just filtered away? Is your mailbox full? Usually I receive error messages by mail if the activation key couldn't be delivered, but for some time, I just delete them with no further action, this happens just too often. And you can re-request that key at any time, if you'd just take a closer look at the overview page.
Ehm, anyway, guests can post everywhere they like on this board. And you can also login, you're just no validated Member until then.
