Subject: Settings: Board Appearance: Threads and Forums
First, I would like to suggest that the "Threads and Forums" options be divided into two sections.  I really have to read the descriptions of each (every time) in order to determine if the option affects the thread list or the forum list.

And now for the problems  :-D

I have been checking and unchecking these options (under the divider "Threads and Forums") to see what they do.
Finally, I have only the first two  checked and the rest unchecked.

Checked Options:
Mark threads with own posts
Mark bookmarked threads

Not Checked Options:

Display thread start date
Advanced counters in threads lists
Count thread views
Display a thread’s last post’s author
Count threads and posts for forums
Display forum’s last post

And the results are:
①The forums list has only the Title of the forum listed. The description of the forum is missing which would otherwise show up directly beneath the forum Title. I think this must be a bug and not a design feature because none of the options mentions that the forum description will disappear.

②The Topics (threads) list shows "Topic started by Admin" and "Last post some days ago."  Maybe this is OK. I'm not sure.

Next, I checked "Display thread start date" and saved it. Then the Topics list shows "Topic started some days ago by Admin."  The previously mentioned "Last post some days ago" in the right-most column is now blank (or missing.)  I feel that this was not the intended outcome.

Next, I checked "Display a thread’s last post’s author" and saved it. After this, the Topics list has not changed.  It still shows "Topic started some days ago by Admin" and the right-most column is still blank.

The html output has the <td> but no data between.  I guess the table cell is always there, right?

<td class="lastpost">
                            </td>

I'll look into this.

Regarding the missing last post entry: If there is only a single post in the thread, it may be intended that there's no special mentioning of the last post, which is in fact the first post. "Thread started by Admin, 5 days ago. 0 replies. Last post by Admin, 5 days ago." Sounds a lot like double data to me. But if the thread start is not mentioned, the last post will be displayed separately. (Or similar, I'm not sure right now.) There is a logic behind this, maybe you'll find it with more data. ;)

OK, I thought I had replied in at least one of my threads.
After replying, then that last column shows the info.

Could you check why the forum description disappears?

Fixed. It was falsely linked to the "count threads and posts" thing.
