Subject: upgrade problem
i am trying to upgrade to latest version.

when i try to run the install script i get this error:

Warning: fopen(unb_lib/logs/ip.log) [function.fopen]: failed to open stream: Permission denied in /home/stocks/domains/stocksandstakes.com/public_html/unb_lib/common.lib.php on line 3204

Error: HTTP headers have already been sent! Caused by output from file ~/unb_lib/common.lib.php at line 3204. The error was detected after initialisation.

Description: HTTP headers are used to give the web browser information on the content type or how to handle it. These headers are immediately sent to the browser as soon as text content is generated by the PHP script. At this place, the application expected the headers not to be sent yet and needs to add more headers but cannot do so because somewhere else output was generated. This likely happens when custom page elements have been inserted before this code or empty lines or UTF BOMs are present before the opening <?php tag. Please check the above code line and remove the output from there to resolve the error.

and forum completely stops working!

Please check your access rights to the mentioned file (unb_lib/logs/ip.log). In case you should fail to do so, just delete that file and retry.

I didn't remove it. Without further information I cannot tell you why it's not there anymore.

well. i had to remove all the old files and i uploaded from the latest file i got from this website. there seems to be no adsense related plugin available.

i copied the adsense file from the backup i had and it does not appear in the backend.

i cannot see any such file in the unb.stable.1.6.4.full\unb\unb_lib\plugins folder i got from the compressed file!

The adsense plugin was never part of the default plugins. You always need to copy it in from the extra directory of the archive. Your backup will also do. (Anyway, upgrading does not include deleting everything. What you did was a clean installation.)
