Yep, I see there is no problem here. Something wrong, connecting and connecting and connecting and there is nothing huh, like "Reply".

Sorry, don't understand what you mean.

It's simple - after click on "add new thread" (the same problem like this with "Reply") script wants to connect with "something" and can't do that and reconnect and...  my administrator told me some minutes ago, that forum generates high traffic, database are working like crazy and much more.. I disabled forum by administratove lock and waiting for new version of dev.

PS> I can't change "administrative lock" message. Good night!

It was on this board too today. When clicking on new thread, the page loads very long, and ends with an XML error saying that there has been a timeout. Later in the evening it wasn't there anymore.

As I said in another thread, the "Reply timeouts" problem is fixed already and I will make a new version today. There's no network traffic generated in this loop, also the database has nothing to do with it. It's just a PHP code loop that doesn't return. As a quick fix, add the following lines marked with "+" around common.lib.php line 881:
  1.             case '@veriword': $url = $baseurl; $req = 'veriword'; break;
  2.           }
  3. +         if ($url{0} === '@')
  4. +         {
  5. +            UnbErrorLog('Invalid page reference in UnbLink: url=' . $url);
  6. +            $url = $baseurl; $req = '';
  7. +         }
  8.           if (isset($req))

- forum looks strange in IE - I know, IE and W3C are old enemies, but IE is a standard for whole people... look... IE on top, Firefox lower.

Internet Explorer is not supported any more than this. Sorry, I cannot change it. See my previous post on this.
*Sigh* Than I have to create my own design, because I cannot ignore 52.8% of my users. :(

Damn, great Yves!

I just came back from my holydays and i didnt expect this ;)
and just by the way, i think it's a great think not to support ie users as valid-browser users. microsoft has to notice, that their brother is just a bundle of shit!

sorry...

To be honest, I can understand that for some people it is a problem. Never the less, I do not care either if it is readable in IE or not.

Well, I actually do care whether IE can display it in a readable way. But it's the same to me if it's nice or not. From my experience it's not as nice... Sometimes I have to use IEs myself and I'll only bite myself when I can't use it then... ;)

PS: Can we then please try to use the other forums again, too? I have tried to split off recent sub-discussions from here but the rest is a big 'mess' now that nobody will read to find something...
