Subject: updates (email or jabber) for the whole forum
i think it is usefull (for small boards, or boards where you are head responsible) to have a option that you could have updates for the whole board. no you have to check every forum one by one.

Do you talk about new threads|posts notifications for the entire board? You might be interested in a 'recursive' option for new threads notification, that will allow you to enable that notification for all forums with a single click. This is planned.

You could also subscribe to the RSS feed that includes all posts in all forums accessible to guests (except your newsfeed reader supports sending of browser cookies for login). This is included in the devel snapshots, see change log.

SharpReader can send "logins"? The only option I found was proxy authentication, but no cookies. But it's .NET-based, I don't know if it sends out IE cookies. Didn't test it yet.

How about those "whole board" notifications? It would be useful.
I`d use RSS instead, but there`s no way to "log in" in most of the readers (I use Google Reader). Maybe some "user auth key" for RSS?
