Das Design kenne ich, da ich es selbst in meinem Forum verwende. Du hast das bestimmt bei der Uni Erlangen gesehen, bei der Yves afaik studiert hat.
Ich bin an das Design gekommen, indem ich mich an den Admin des Forums (damals Johannes Jordan) gewandt habe, welcher mir das Template unter einer CC-Lizenz zur Verfügung gestellt hat.

Wenn dir auch das Template von dort zusagt und du nicht unbedingt das Default-Template umbauen willst, wäre das für dich evtl. auch eine Option.

Ich kann dir leider nicht sagen, wie schwer so eine Anpassung für dich wird. Prinzipiell stehen den Templates alle Informationen zur Verfügung, du musst es halt nur so umstellen, dass es deiner Vorstellung entspricht.

Erstmal danke für die ausführliche Antwort und entschuldigung des meine so verdammt spät kommt ^^. Möchte dieses Thema aber wegen etwas anderen erneut aufgreifen.

Und zwar habe ich gesehen das jemand seinen Beitrag so angepasst hat das so ziemlich alle Infos links sind (wie es eigentlich üblich ist)

Wie schwer in etwa ist es dies so anzupassen? Natürlich sollten die Infos dann unter dem Avatar sein, so kann man dann auch größere verwenden. Werde es selber auch mal ausprobieren, wobei es unwarscheinlich ist das ich es so hinbekomme.

If you want to add custom tags, you'll need at least some programming knowledge to do it. Otherwise you'll need to find someone who does it for you.

You could add a custom BBCode tag for that. I never needed that, but IIRC there should be multiple topics about that in these forums.

Klingt etwas nach dem Problem mit der URL-Umschreibung. Such doch mal hier im Forum nach "MultiViews", das tritt recht häufig auf. Möglicherweise musst du die Option "Kurze URLs" deaktivieren, wodurch sich aber alle URLs im bestehenden Forum ändern.

Im Fehlerprotokoll steht nichts weiter. Sobald man auf speichern klickt wird der eingegebene Text gelöscht und man springt zum Anfang der Seite aber die Antwort ist nirgens zu sehen. Normalerweise steht sie da an erster Stelle.

Es ist etwas schwer zu beschreiben. Hoffe man versteht es.

Hallo zusammen,

ich bin mit dem Board auf einen anderen Server umgezogen.
Es wurden soweit alle Beiträge kopiert und sind auch vorhanden,
wenn man allerdings einen neuen Beitrag schreiben möchte, wird dieser
nicht mehr gespeichert.

Welches Problem könnte ich hier haben?

Be careful with nofollow. It drops all "karma" coming in from external sites. You wouldn't want to lose that. Just set noindex to not index the post URLs, but keep follow for the link to its own thread that is contained on every post URL page.

Oh, I think named_urls only affects the thread/ URLs, not the direct post links. Those are just shortcuts to a thread with some JavaScript scrolling code to find the post on the page, since there's no traditional hashtag anchor. Maybe post URLs shouldn't appear in a search index anyway and be marked as noindex,follow.

I had named_urls already enabled. But it sill produces url like /post/111111 in most places.

I have modified UnbMakePostLink in common_out.lib.php
and the hereLink in the posts template. Works great for me now. I also added an anchor to jump to the correct post on the page.

Oh, there is already something in it, it's just disabled by default and not very visible. Could you please look for the configuration option "named_urls" (set it to 1)? I think that was it.

Hello,

UNB does a very great job when it comes to SEO. But there is still some space for optimizations.

URLs like http://mydomain.com/forum/post/10956 are not search firendly and cause double content.
The urls occur in some places, eg. on the header of each post where you can link to the post directly.

Is there a simple way to create a url instead which jumps to the SEO friendly Thread Url on the correct page and user an HTML anchor to navigate to the post?

You mean to display the user names with different text colours besides posts and in other lists? No, it's currently not possible. It would also be hard for a plugin because it would require a lot of hooks (which don't exist yet).

Oh, you can use whatever forum (and other) software suits you best.

Is Wordpress in a parent directory (here: the root directory of the domain) or in a parallel subdirectory (here: besides "forum")? If it's in a parent directory, its .htaccess file in the root directory (if present) may interfere here. You'll have to find the offending directives either by comparing both files, or by trial and error. If it's not in a parent directory, I don't see much relevance in it from my limited perspective.

are you sure you are in the right support forum? I see a phpBB installed on your URL.

In case you changed that since, you may want to search this forum for "MultiViews". It gives you a snippet to put in your UNB's main .htaccess file to correct an issue with the Apache web server. There should be a similar comment on that in the file already. Otherwise, you could disable the board's short URLs and not use URL rewriting anymore. It doesn't work everywhere.
